Rope style with low density (0,6 g/cm3) braided in 4 ways. Used instead of standard braided packings with density 0,8 - 0,9 g/cm3 for the following features: good elasticity, high resistance against breaking and high adaptability, both when mounting and cutting it thanks to its softness and flexibility. Due to its 4-way braiding it does not fray away by cutting and keeps its elasticity even by strong mechanical stress.

Treated square ropes

Rope styles listed higher can be treated according to customer's needs in following ways:

  • external treatment with graphite - as lubricant for a higher resistance to temperature
  • external treatment with PTFE - higher resistance to wear and chemicals
  • external treatment with silicone - anti-irritation and anti-dust
  • external sleevings from stainless steel - indicated for coke furnaces
